Well it is obvious that FT was talking about his own post count and by the time you reach 1000 posts you should know that things like that aren't appreciated on HLP. A small comment in the body of a post is sufficient. On the other hand opening a new thread to continue complaining is equally bad and...

Actually I quite like the ending of FS2. For once we have an alien race acting in an alien way. Plus the open endedness of it has inspired tons of campaigns.

Personally, I think the shockwave idea to kill the GTVA is kinda silly as it's sloppy, not very freespacey at all, against all of the shivans tactics (killing things outright and such) andwould be something I'd expect from a B-movie. I think the music itself is public domain (meaning anyone can play it) but unless you played it yourself you'll need the permission of who ever played/recorded it

Could have been but aren't :) Capella is 42LY from Earth and that would put Sol, Alpha Centuri, Wolfe 359 and Barnards Star all within the 50LY range for certain. I agree the interplay between Jonas and Daniel was pretty good. Pity we can`t see the two of them together.

Plus it makes the team more intersting cause now we have two soliders, two geeks and Carter who fits in both groups
