.tbms add to the table without raising the size, they're easier to install, just plonk them in a mod folder, as opposed to all the tedious(?) cutting and pasting that is required for normal .tbls. Unfortunately you can't see table data through Fred 2 using .tbms.

Should someone create .tbm's for the Archangel?

I thought you added the Shaitan? The Shaitan is probably taking up the remaining space. Have you tried using Goober's Table Cleaner? Or (more preferrable) used an SCP build?

Are you sure you have not broken the ship limit?

Have you converted the .pof to FS2-format?
