How about this... actually cut troughs into the surface of the ship to match up with the lines between the tiled "scales" in the textures. Talk about raising your poly count eh?

I too would enjoy a Gunship class, but just try to get the SCP guys to code it for you :D . As far as that goes, TBP is probably our "last best hope" for Gunship AI.

A decent space for a radar dish could be on the dorsal, at the front of the rear section, just back from the "neck" and ahead of the dorsal turret. BTW, that's one sweet looking Hecate. I'm lookin forward to seeing her in action, though my framerates may complain about it. :)
