If I wouldn't have had the help of a senior UC member, I would've died 10 times over. I was using the wrong ammo type until the last battle. Giisti are extremely vulnerable to EMP, and i was packing Explosive which they are almost immune to.

After hearing that, I'm so glad i don't PVP. Because, frankly, I'd lose every engagement, so there is little point in even trying.

which explains why missiles are the most popular long range weapon for dealing heavy damage. There's something screwy with balance if a small gun out damages a medium or large gun.

my best ship only has 5 lows though(brutix, it's the most crippled BC there is. it needs 100 more grid at least. bc should be able to mount a full load of med sized guns and not compromise it's defense(200mm rails, not 250s))

was using energized until recently, now I'm using active, but it doesn't seem to help as much as the energized.

nearly all the enemies i fight are serpentis(-4.10 standing with them last i looked), so thermal and kinetic.

Doesn't change the fact that my armor rep (Med Armor Rep 1) eats 1/5th of the cap in my Thorax every 10 sec, and repairs less than 1/10 of my unplated armor.

everyone of those threads is made by people who don't use anything but t2 and the most expensive named stuff.

All I ever get is basic crap, even on lvl2 missions.

and there goes my guns, cause i don't have enough grid/cpu to run that kinda stuff.

combat tactics? point, shoot, and keep the other guy from doing the same, anything else is superfluous garbage.

And I still haven't figured out how to keep my armor rep running indefinately.
