There's only so much you can do with it . Actually an enhanced co-op mod was released in like 2010 or something like that. It basically added some features like being able to move players around (incase they were stuck), higher PPS, a few other tweaks.
You have to kinda cheat to enjoy co-op, such as setting the respawn rate really low so you can stock up on weapons. And since nothing carries over, you have to start with the default loadout on every level. And some things don't work well in co-op + the robots use a different AI online. It's not ide...
Wasn't that impressed but it had some good moments. It was interesting to see the shadow war unfold in a way JMS had originally intended, rather than the hugely compressed storyline we actually got. Also the Vorlons using the moon to destroy Earth was haunting. I didn't much care for the silly jokes...
A good one pops up now & again on Twitch, but the vods disappear pretty quickly so it helps to check frequently. There aren't many good ones on Youtube.
Controversial opinion: I now think FS1 was a better representation of the FreeSpace universe.
So Picard S3 was pretty awesome (except for a great many plot problems) and they actually did stick an OK landing for the end - not great, but not terrible. S2 was garbage by the end, so I'm reversing on my previous opinion. Sharpe? Haven't seen that in a while... Did they ever remaster it/upscale it?
