Mission notes

This level was originally an entry for the "Descentia 2001" level contest. One of the stipulations of the contest was that it featured something resembling the Descent game cover art, hence the lifter in the ceiling in single-player mode.

Year of the Snake was intended to be a 1v1 level, but it was built in a different era, and many pilots nowadays find it too slow to be compelling. It does, however, make for a pretty solid 2v2 level; it can lend itself to standoffs even there, but there are ways for a good team to break out of them.

Consider multiplying the primary weapon count; x2 for 4 players, x3 for 6.
