Mission notes

OctShare Pro is an update on Octave Share; a multiplayer anarchy level intended to be a Shareware-style variant of LotharBot's Octave Pro.

This version swaps Octave Share's Homing Missile for more Laser Cannons and an extra Quad Laser powerup, but retains it's Spreadfire Cannons all around the level. While the Homing Missile was LotharBot's suggestion, I feel the exchange for more Laser weapons brings this update of Octave Share closer to the energy weapon-dueling that Octave Pro was all about in the first place.

This level is meant for two players, but can work if you had eight players (or anything in-between). It's optimized for Descent 1 shareware with the Retro 1.46 source port, but can work for retail as well. (If you want to test-fly this, start a multiplayer match offline; single-player flying has been disabled.)

Although it sucks getting old, I wish Descent shareware a happy 30th anniversary! (On Christmas Eve, no less!)
