Title: Mars Base Game: Descent II Date Finished: 6-4-96 Updated: 6-13-96 Original Author: Parallax Original Title: Mars Military Base (Lev 10, D1, First Strike) Translated to D2 by: Commander Sirian, The Descent Rangers E-mail Address: [email protected] Description: This is a translation of a classic Descentr level. I have modified it to enhance it for anarchy play, so there are more weapons than necessary for solo. Note: This level will be included with other translated levels in a Mission called Sirian's Classics. Look for this multi-level mission some time in summer '96. Comments: This is version 1.1 The original version was never released, but copies may exist somewhere. Changes from v1.0 include adding energy bays behind the yellow door and adding more lighting to the lower bay. Special Note: I know that others have already translated all of the original D1 levels, but I am still going to complete my Classics mission. My translations include balancing available weapons to enhance anarchy play, especially for larger games, and gradually increasing difficulty in bot selection over the course of the series, for co-op play that even the best will find challenging. ========================================================================== This level supports the following modes of play: Single Player Yes Co-Op Yes Anarchy Yes Robo-Anarchy Yes Team Yes Flag Yes Translation time Too long.
