Mission notes

Hermes was the result of my attempt to build a "Nysa-like" level that I could use as a home map for the likes of the Descent Champions Ladder. I intended to build two versions: one with Gauss and more Mercury Missiles, and one without; the second of these became Hermes.

My initial play-tests (thanks Morfod!) indicated the level was a bit too large and slow for the weapons it had, so I revised it to shrink it to the current size.

Ship visibility can sometimes be a bit of an issue, unfortunately, but other than that it seems to be a pretty respectable level. Note that the lava in Hermes does not explode and is safe to fly over.
